Abstract
The motion of a single fluxon in long Josephson-junctions of overlap and inline geometries is investigated in the presence of an applied external magnetic field. The form of the first zero-field step for various parameters is given in closed analytic forms in both cases, and the differences and similarities between the two geometries are emphasized. This publication has 8 references indexed in Scilit:
