Abstract
Acute nonlymphocytic leukemia developed in 2 patients who were treated postoperatively with cytotoxic chemotherapy. Both patients survived > 4 yr after the diagnosis of brain tumor, and both had extended periods of myelosuppression secondary to nitrosourea chemotherapy. Nitrosourea therapy may have facilitated the development of acute leukemia in these patients. This publication has 5 references indexed in Scilit:
