Abstract
Acute nonlymphocytic leukemia developed in 2 patients who were treated postoperatively with cytotoxic chemotherapy. Both patients survived > 4 yr after the diagnosis of brain tumor, and both had extended periods of myelosuppression secondary to nitrosourea chemotherapy. Nitrosourea therapy may have facilitated the development of acute leukemia in these patients.
