Abstract
2-Substituted thio-4,6-bis(trichloromethyl)-s-triazmes, a new class of s-triazine derivatives, were obtained by the cotrimerization of CCl3CN with a wide variety of thiocyanates. Generally, the reaction proceeded smoothly at ordinary pressure in the presence of hydrogen chloride or the combined catalyst, Friedel-Crafts catalyst-hydrogen chloride. This publication has 5 references indexed in Scilit:
