Abstract
A theory of optimal adjacent channel distance in homogeneous hexagonal cell systems is developed. Algorithms generating frequency distributions with best adjacent channel distance, valid for arbitrary co-channel reuse ratios, are presented. The theory may be applied to mobile radio telephone systems or broadcast services. Keywords
