Abstract
Modern financial theory (MFT) is not widely recognized beyond the confines of a relatively small segment of academia. An examination of the theory's main assertions reveals that MFT may be more compatible with corporate strategy and public policy than is commonly recognized. Disciplinary interaction is encouraged. Keywords
