Abstract
Two species of Radiolaria from paleomagnetically-dated Plio-Pleistocene sediments of the central equatorial Indian Ocean are described. Anthocytidium jenghisi (n. sp.) has a last appearance datum at approximately 2.4 Ma, near the base of the Pterocanium prismatium Zone. The last occurrence of Anthocyrtidium michelinae is at about 1.5 Ma, near the base of the Anthocyrtidium angulare Zone. This publication has 0 references indexed in Scilit:
