Abstract
As ozone mixing ratio correlates well with potential vorticity, column integrated ozone (“total ozone”) should correlate with column integrated potential vorticity. Daily maps of these fields are analyzed, and it is shown that this correlation holds well, notably during the winter and spring. During a few short periods however, the correlation breaks down. This publication has 5 references indexed in Scilit:
