Abstract
During estrus, in rats, MAO [monoamineoxidase] activity is significantly increased in the cerebellum, the diencephalon and rhombencephalon, and significantly increased in the mesencephalon. COMT [Catechol-O-methyltransferase activity, during estrus, is significantly decreased in the mesencephalon and significantly so in the rhombencephalon and the cerebellum. In estrus, MAO activity is increased in the ovaries, and COMT decreased in the uterus and the ovaries. Keywords
