Abstract
Toxicity of insecticides to the alfalfa leafcutter bee, Megachile rotundata (F.); the alkali bee, Nomia melanderi Cockerell; and the honey bee, A pis mellifera L., has been studied by us for several years (Johansen and Eves 1967, Johansen 1969). Recently I had an opportunity to add certain bumble bee species to the comparative studies. Specimens were obtained from nests of Bombus centralis Cresson and B. rufocinctus Cresson. Keywords
