A samaria‐doped celia (SDC) interlayer was used to avoid unfavorable solid‐state reactions when using (LSC) as a cathode on yttria‐stabilized zirconia electrolyte. A porous LSC cathode prepared on a thin and dense SDC interlayer exhibited very high performance even at .
