Abstract
The basic equations describing the motion of an ideal relativistic fluid in the presence of electromagnetic fields are formulated both in their differential and in their integral form. From the integral equations shock conditions are derived. In the limit of weak shocks the velocities of propagation of the various kinds of shocks and the discontinuities of the various physical quantities are calculated. Keywords
