Abstract
The present study evaluated the validity of a revised version of the Multidimensional Health Locus of Control (MHLC) Scales when the measure is employed with older elementary school children. Confirmatory maximum-likelihood factor analysis employed data from 876 students. The factor structure of the measure matched expected structure fairly closely, although a few deviations from expectation were noted. Thus, the results supported the validity of the measure when it is employed with children. Keywords
