Abstract
The structure and growth conditions of aging-induced precipitations in polycrystalline near equiatomic NiTi are examined by neutron powder diffraction. The molar amount of the precipitates after different heat treatments is determined. The influence of stoichiometry on crystallisation and other physical properties are discussed. Keywords
