Abstract
This paper focuses attention on the markets that could be served by potential tidal projects in the Bay of Fundy, describes the system considerations and computer models used to analyze the technical and economic viability of such developments and outlines the transmission requirements necessary for their integration into the power system networks. It also details the results of a study on the incorporation of a 3360 MW single basin tidal development into the interconnected Maritimes and New England markets. Keywords
