Abstract
Type of keratinization has been determined by cytological methods for 150 occurrences of oral leukoplakia. The results agreed with those of the histological examinations. Comparison of the keratinization pattern and clinical types showed a correlation between cytologic hyperparakeratosis and erosive leukoplakias. Keywords
