Abstract
The magnetic susceptibilities of powdered samples of NCu (TMCuC) and [(C)] (TTMCuC) have been measured. Both compounds behave like one-dimensional Heisenberg ferromagnets which are weakly coupled antiferromagnetically to adjacent chains. For TMCuC, we obtained K with K; the ratio is the lowest yet found for a ferromagnetic chain. For TTMCuC, we obtained K, with , and K for the antiferromagnetic chains also present.
