Abstract
An integral equation for the current in an apex-driven symmetrical V-antenna is derived and solved by successive approximations. General formulas for the distribution of current and the impedance are obtained. The zeroth-order impedance is evaluated for a leg-length h=λ0/4 as a function of the enclosed angle and used to estimate experimental results. This publication has 3 references indexed in Scilit:
