Abstract
Commercial 2,4,5-T contains about 0.1 ppm TCDD. This persistent, cumulatively toxic dioxin is carcinogenic in the parts per trillion range and acute1y toxic at higher concentrations. Since TCDD traces have been found in beef fat, fish, crustaceans, and human milk, 2,4,5-T use probably poses an ecological and human health hazard. Keywords
