Abstract
The Niemeijer-Van Leeuwen cumulant expansion for calculation of renormalized interactions is carried to third order for the Ising model on the triangular lattice. Kadanoff cells containing seven spins are used. In third order there is no indication that the cumulant expansion does not converge: The results are in every respect a considerable improvement over the second order. Keywords
