Abstract
People are living longer and retaining their recreational and vocational activities, as well as their independence, longer. For primary care physicians, these demographic changes may mean an increase in the number of elderly patients that they see. Dr Lehman addresses a serious problem among this population—head trauma. He describes common causes, immediate and appropriate diagnosis and treatment, and the reduction of additional trauma caused by improper management. Keywords
