Abstract
The clinical and pathologic findings of 34 patients with malignant mixed Müllerian tumor of the uterus (15 of the homologous type and 19 of the heterologous one) are analyzed. Tumor extent at the time of diagnosis appears to be the main prognostic factor: 63.6% of the patients in stage I are alive and well from 9 years to 6 months after diagnosis, as compared to 4.3% of the patients in all the other stages. No other factor seems to be of any essential importance for survival. This publication has 17 references indexed in Scilit:
