Abstract
Patients (12) are described in whom there was sufficient suspicion of a perilymph fistula to justify tympanotomy. Audiometric tests were done. Tests were reported as positive if there was a hearing gain of at least 10 dB in at least 2 frequencies on pure tone audiometry. All cases except one had a tympanotomy. In this series, postural audiometry compares favorably with otoscopy and vestibular examination in the diagnosis of perilymph fistula. This publication has 6 references indexed in Scilit:
