Abstract
The elastic field of a screw dislocation near a boundary (grain, interphase or free boundary) is analyzed by using anisotropic elasticity theory. Exact analytical solutions are obtained for cases where the adjacent grains possess certain symmetry elements. The results are used to derive the image force on the dislocation. This publication has 7 references indexed in Scilit:
