Abstract
Satisfactory forest management agreements continue to elude us on a total national basis. Successful agreements exist in at least three provinces and have functioned from 5 to 30 years. The need to review the reasons for the success of these agreements and the need to develop trust between government and corporations are outlined.Keywords
