Simplified Indirect Complement-Fixation Test Applied to Newcastle Disease Immune Avian Serum

Abstract
As a means of determining the feasibility of using a simplified form of the indirect complement-fixation procedure for diagnostic purposes in the examination of immune fowl serums, the authors compared the results of this test with those obtained by means of the hemagglutination-inhibition test on the serums of chickens immunized to Newcastle Pisease. A good general agreement was observed between the titers obtained by the 2 tests. Petails of technic and prepn. of test components are described.
