Abstract
Interferograms of composite plane‐target coronal plasmas have been analyzed by separate Abel inversion on each side of the interface between plasmas of different atomic number. The density difference measured across the interface changes sign near the central region of the interface. The absence of Faraday rotation of a visible probe beam in previous experiments is explained. This publication has 4 references indexed in Scilit:
