Abstract
An automated dialysis method for measuring the dissolution profiles of unit dose forms is described. The suitability of the method for the evaluation of these profiles has been demonstrated by an examination of tablets of sulphathiazole prepared under different conditions of pressure and excipient content. The addition of the water soluble resin, polyethylene oxide, has been shown to cause a small increase in the dissolution rates of the tablets. Keywords
