Radiations ofZr97andNb97

The radiations of ${\mathrm{Zr}}^{97}$ and ${\mathrm{Nb}}^{97}$ have been examined by beta-ray spectrometry and coincidence counting. The 17.0-hr. ${\mathrm{Zr}}^{97}$ has been found to decay to a 60-sec. isomer of ${\mathrm{Nb}}^{97}$, the latter undergoing isomeric transition to the 75-min, ${\mathrm{Nb}}^{97}$ ground state. The disintegration energies are: ${\mathrm{Zr}}^{97}$, $E_{\beta }=1.91\mathrm{}\pm 0.02$ Mev; ${\mathrm{Nb}}^{97\mathrm{m}}$, $E_{\gamma }=0.747\mathrm{}\pm 0.005$ Mev; ${\mathrm{Nb}}^{97}$, $E_{\beta }=1.267\mathrm{}\pm 0.02$ Mev; $E_{\gamma }=0.665\mathrm{}\pm 0.005$ Mev.
