Abstract
This study utilised seven of the 30 children from the Williams, Ingham and Rosenthal (1981) study that met our criteria for developmental verbal dyspraxia (DVD). The consistency of phonological errors and the effects of linguistic task and performance load (imitation vs spontaneous, etc.) were investigated. Results indicated that DVD children utilise consistent types and frequencies of phonological processes between linguistic tasks and performance loads. Suggestions for phonological analysis of DVD children are made. Keywords
