Abstract
Human colostrum was studied by chromatography on DEAE-cellulose. Seven fractions were characterized by immune electrophoresis. A large number of constitutents were found and identified (e.g. serum albumin, B1a-globulin, a-lactalbumin, red protein). Immune globulins related to serum [beta]2a- and gamma-globulin were found in most of the fractions. By rechromatography an immune electrophoretically pure immune globulin (milk [beta]2A-globulin) was isolated. Keywords
