Abstract
The reaction is analyzed in terms of a model based on the exchange of the Regge pole and the associated cuts generated by absorption. The data, in particular the absence of a dip in the differential cross section and the large positive values of the density matrix element , can be well described by this model only if the amplitudes do not vanish at nonsense, wrong-signature points.
