Abstract
Onomatopoeia and Images is a test of originality for adults using word stimuli which include semantic and sound elements to evoke imaginative responses. Each of the equivalent forms of the test has 10 items selected from a pool of onomatopoeic words and is administered by a recorded text. Scoring guides provide originality credits based on frequency of responses. The reliability and validity indices obtained are indicative of the potential promise of the instrument. Keywords
