Abstract
The measurement of tissue PO2 is a valid parameter of microcirculation. In healthy subjects variations of mean tissue PO2 appear to be due to oscillations of heart rate, blood pressure, and peripheral vasomotor changes. An influence of circadian rhythm seems to be possible too (Lübbers 1985).Keywords
