On local and fuzzy modelling

Abstract
Modelling methods that support different levels of accuracy and tolerate large variations in process knowledge are discussed within the framework of local modelling and fuzzy modelling. It is shown that local modelling can be viewed as an extension of earlier work within fuzzy modelling.<>Keywords
