Abstract
A new species of Breviraja is described from a pair of fish caught by line at nearly 2500 m depth in the Bay of Biscay. Distinctive characters include: the sparse distribution of denticles and spines, small number of teeth, position and size of the orbits, and very pale dorsal surface.This publication has 3 references indexed in Scilit:
