Abstract
Sliced rat liver was autologously transplanted to s.c. tissue. Morphology of the hepatocytes in transplants was investigated for up to 1 yr after autotransplantation: the effect of partial hepatectomy on the autografts was studied. Autografts with .apprx. 1/10 of the original weight were found alive in s.c. tissue for as much as 1 yr after transplantation. Partial hepatectomy did not lead to greater weight. This publication has 5 references indexed in Scilit:
