Multiple Births in Anthropoid Apes

Abstract

The first recorded birth of chimpanzee twins occurred on June 26, 1933 in a laboratory at Orange Park, Florida. During a period of about 3 yrs., there were 10 normal births in the same chimpanzee colony.
