Abstract
Baum's formula for the correlation function of Gaussian noise after error-function limiting is obtained by a new, simple and relatively direct approach. It sheds some light on the case in which a half-wave linear rectifier precedes the limiter but is not able to simplify the work of Kaufman and Roberts on this problem.Keywords
