Abstract
A water vapor sensor for stratospheric aircraft based on the principle of ultraviolet fluorescence has been built and flown successfully. The instrument exhibits high sensitivity, rapid response, and good resistance to contamination. It is available for use in NCAR‐associated research. Keywords
