Constrictive Pericarditis Due to Chronic Uremia

Abstract
PERICARDIAL effusion due to chronic uremia may be controlled by hemodialysis alone or may, in addition, require aspiration or open drainage. It usually leaves no sequelae.1 , 2 The present report describes a patient in whom pericardial constriction followed recovery from hemorrhagic pericardial effusion.
