Abstract
An 86-year-old woman with visual impairment who developed a vivid, visual hallucinatory state in clear sensorium is described. This picture conforms to the description of Charles Bonnet Syndrome. She also experienced musical hallucinations. The role of sensory deprivation in the pathogenesis of this syndrome is discussed.Keywords
