Abstract
When reconstructing the lower eyelid [human] with use of a temporal-zygomatic skin flap, the inner lining could be provided by a tarsal pedicle flap from the upper eyelid. The flap was hinged in the superior cul de sac and was similar to the letter T on its side, obviating the need to use nasal septal cartilage and mucosa. This method maintained the upward curve of the lower eyelid and restored the lateral canthal angle while causing very little noticeable shortening of the horizontal fissure. This publication has 0 references indexed in Scilit:
