Conductive education evaluated

Abstract
This paper attempts an evaluation of two major research projects concerned with conductive education ‐ one German and the other from the UK. A brief description is given of the background, aims and objectives of each project, together with a consideration of their similarities and differences. There follows an evaluation of the strengths and weaknesses of each, and an examination of common issues which arise from both studies. An appeal is made for future research and development to take place in a cooperative and constructive spirit, both at national and international levels.
