Abstract
We present a new and simple proof of the Lee-Quigg-Thacker theorem concerning the equivalence of longitudinally polarized W and Z bosons and their would-be-Goldstone partners. The proof rests on the Becchi-Rouet-Stora invariance of the gauge theory. Keywords
