Abstract
The purpose of this study was to delineate the concept of nonverbal rigidity by assessing its relationship to the major personality variables of Machiavellianism and Dogmatism. It was also of interest to gather data on the relationship of these two major variables. The results indicate that non-verbal rigidity is not related to Dogmatism and Machiavellianism and that Dogmatism shows a low positive relationship ( p < .05) to Machiavellianism. Keywords
