Abstract
The common embryologic origin of various pulmonary malformations has been reviewed. Reported cases have been discussed with reference to the pulmonary and/or cardiovascular consequences of the malformations. Available hemodynamic data have been tabulated and analyzed. A plea is made for the accurate observation and careful recording of anatomic, clinical and physiologic data that will permit a better understanding of the nature and course of congenital malformations of the lung.
