Abstract
The advantages of the maximum likelihood method of probit analysis over more approximate methods are stressed. With the aid of a digital computer the maximum likelihood method becomes feasible timewise and financially. A program developed by the writer, available to prospective users, can fit a dosage mortality regression line based on 10 doses in maximally 95 seconds. A flow chart of the program is appended.
