Abstract
The method of obtaining crystals of thiourea from water solution at room temperature has been described. The results of the measurements of the elastic constants by means of Brillouin scattering have been presented. It has been shown that there exists a correlation in orientation between the tensors describing elastic properties and thermal expansion. Debye's temperature and components of the tensor of Grüneisen parameter of the thiourea crystal in the V polimorphic modification have been determined. Keywords
