Search for $B^{0}$ decays to two charged leptons

Abstract

We have searched for

B^{0}

decays to two charged leptons and set 90% confidence level upper limits on the branching fractions:

B (B^{0} \to e^{+} e^{-}) < 5.9 \times 10^{- 6}

,

B (B^{0} \to μ^{+} μ^{-}) < 5.9 \times 10^{- 6}

,

B (B^{0} \to e^{\pm} μ^{\mp}) < 5.9 \times 10^{- 6}

,

B (B^{0} \to e^{\pm} τ^{\mp}) < 5.3 \times 10^{- 4}

, and

B (B^{0} \to μ^{\pm} τ^{\mp}) < 8.3 \times 10^{- 4}
