Abstract
The composition dependence of induced anisotropy has been investigated for amorphous (Fe1-x Co x )90Zr10 alloys. It is found that the induced anisotropy constant of the alloys shows a clear peak at X=0.6 and its maximum value (3010 erg/g) is three times as large as that reported previously for metal-metalloid amorphous alloys. The composition dependence of induced anisotropy can be fit to the directional pair order theory proposed by Iwata for clustering type fcc alloys. Keywords
